Sam and Tricia, the dynamic duo behind Willow Tree Creations, crossed paths in 2021, brought together by our shared passion for cameras. From that moment on, our journey as a couple and a creative team was set in motion. With a combined experience of over 100 weddings, we have an unwavering dedication to capturing loves whimsical story!
Beyond our love for photography and videography, we share a deep bond over our affection for miniature Dachshunds, our mutual obsession with Harry Potter, and our shared enthusiasm for globetrotting adventures. We call Dayton, Ohio, our home, where we are joined by our four beloved dogs: Jasmine, Pepper, Cinnamon, and Reggie. Together, we create memories, explore new horizons, and chase our dreams.
WHAT SAM LOVES ABOUT TRICIA
To quote Michael Scott “And I knew exactly what to do. But in a much more real sense, I had no idea what to do.” This describes how I felt at the beginning of our relationship.
Tricia is such a unique person that I had just met through Facebook dating and I honestly had no idea how to be in a relationship. But over time she helped me learn how to be the person I am. Her love for The Office, Miniature dachshunds and Harry Potter rubbed off on me. She has poured her soul into her work and the home we share together.
She is always helping me through tough situations and I can’t believe she is the person I get to work with everyday and will get to marry!
WHAT TRICIA LOVES ABOUT SAM
Sam and I have been together as I’m writing this for about 2 and a half years which to some, isn’t a very long time between dating and getting engaged. But Elvis said it best when he sang “Wise men say, only fools rush in. But I can’t help falling in love with you.”
Sam is a very charismatic kind of person. He’s spontaneous, ambitious, and one of the most caring and thoughtful people I’ve ever met. Oh, I can’t forget to mention he’s also the most sassy person I’ve ever met. I love how passionate and focused he is about weddings and capturing the perfect love story. I love how nothing ever gets him down. Sam is always a glass half full kind of man. No matter where we are in life, his unwavering positivity is what I love most of all. He always sees the bright side. He always sees hope for the future. And no matter what is happening in the world, he is always content. He’s never too busy to lend an ear, he always keeps an open mind and an open heart.
I love the way he always strives to be a better person and how he always shows patience and forgiveness. I can’t wait to marry him some day!

JASMINE
OFFICE MANAGER (UNOFFICIAL SNACK EXPERT)
Introducing Jasmine, our charismatic office manager who thrives on being the center of attention and is our undisputed unofficial snack expert. With her keen managerial skills, she not only keeps the team well-fed but also orchestrates the chaos, making sure our office is a lively and entertaining place to be.
The snack drawer Reggie thinks he has discovered is actually Jamine’s stash of doggie kibble cleverly shoved into and hidden in the couch cushions by Jasmine herself. Jasmine can’t wait until Reggie grows tall enough just to discover there was nothing in that so called “secret snack drawer” he thinks he knows so much about.
PEPPER
CLIENT CONSULTATION EXPERT
Meet Pepper, our attention-loving office superstar! She's always ready for client consultations and gives her all in exchange for her favorite currency: dollops of whipped cream. She's the true heart and soul of the team.
CINNAMON
SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Cinnamon is in charge of all our marketing plans. Her day-to-day tasks include running our social media accounts and engaging with couples online. While those are her assigned duties, she spends most of her time daydreaming about treats and cuddles as she runs out the clock only pretending to work when the office manager does her rounds.
OREGANO (REGGIE)
OFFICE INTERN
Meet Reggie, our mischievous intern extraordinaire! When he's not diligently 'assisting' with editing tasks, you can find him nagging Jasmine, our Office Manager and unofficial office snack expert. Reggie aspires to finally grow tall enough to reach the secret snack drawer that Jasmine has hidden.
